Profile

Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with a specialization in Commercial Law from the same university, a Master's in Business Law from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and a Master's in Environmental Law from Universidad de la Rioja. She is a research professor at the Department of Environmental Law and Land at Universidad Externado de Colombia, and a professor in the Economic Law Master's at Javeriana and in the Property Law chair at Universidad de Los Andes. She has been a columnist at Ámbito Jurídico on territorial planning, agrarian and environmental law since 2018. She served as Deputy Director General of the National Planning Department (DNP), Secretary General of the Banco Agrario de Colombia and Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture. She has been a specialized consultant to the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, and Senior Manager at EY. She advises multilateral institutions, public and private entities on agrarian, real estate and territorial planning law, as well as the design and implementation of public policies related to rural investments.
